    Everything I needed

    I wanted an alternative to my gas generator as I live off grid in a small RV. I have found that all my electricity needs are easily met and quickly recharged with this set up.

    Powerful, but lacking in a few areas

    I bought this about a month ago. My main intent was to provide an Uninterrupted Power Source for my sump pump during times that I am away from home and the power may go out. The 2400 Watt capacity is strong enough to power the sump pump, whereas my RiverPro was not. Overall this DELTA Max is a solid unit. Some drawbacks: It is HEAVY, my wife cannot lift it. It does not have a light, whereas my RiverPro has a light with 3 settings, including as SOS flash - useful in emergency situations. My biggest complaint: The 12 Volt outlet is only rated for 3 AMPS, so it is not powerful enough for anything more than a light or to recharge a phone. I tried to run a tire inflator on the 12 Volt outlet but the Overload trigger shut it off. My car's 12 Volt outlet powers the inflator just fine. So that is a disappointing part of this unit.

    Nice Piece of Equipment

    I was going to have a whole house generator installed but the price was too steep. After extensive research I decided to invest in the Delta Max instead because we have periodic power failures in this rural area. The Max will power my midsized refrigerator/freezer in the garage and a few other items. I will be looking into the Eco Flow generator in the future in case the blackouts are extended. That way I can recharge the Max when needed. Great product and my tests so far have been positive.
