What vehicles does the EcoFlow 500W Alternator Charger work with?
It is designed for 12V and 24V vehicle systems in Charging Mode (input range 11–31V). Always confirm your vehicle system voltage and installation requirements before setup.
What is the difference between Charging Mode and Reverse Charging Mode?
Charging Mode uses your vehicle’s electrical system to charge a compatible battery system. Reverse Charging Mode allows power to flow back from a higher-voltage battery input (40–60V) to a 13.8V/27.6V output (up to 500W max), depending on your configuration.
Does it support a maintenance or trickle mode?
Yes. Battery Maintenance Mode supports a lower-power output (up to 100W max) intended for maintaining battery charge levels.
What safety protections are built in?
It includes reverse polarity protection, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, and overvoltage/undervoltage protection (with integral protection against overloads).
What fuse rating should be used?
The unit lists a 125A fuse rated current. Use the included fuse cable and follow the official installation guidance for correct fuse placement.
