The HomeGrid Stack’d Series is a modular, low-voltage (48V-class) LFP battery storage system designed for residential and small commercial energy storage. With scalable capacity, high continuous output, and fast installation, it’s built for whole-home backup, time-of-use optimization, and off-grid expansion—while keeping future upgrades simple by adding additional battery modules.
HomeGrid Stack’d Series Modular Battery System Features
High continuous output – Up to 14.4 kW continuous power per stack to support demanding home loads. High surge capability – Up to 24 kW surge (10 seconds) to help handle motor starts and short-duration peaks. Modular capacity scaling – Each module is 4.8 kWh, and stacks scale from 2 to 8 modules (9.6 to 38.4 kWh). Parallel expansion – Combine up to 15 units in parallel for up to 576 kWh total capacity. Fast, simplified install – Designed for <30 minutes installation with an upgrade-friendly modular format. LFP chemistry – Uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) for long life and thermal stability in stationary storage applications. Live communication – Supports system integration via CAN / RS485 for monitoring and closed-loop communications. Outdoor-capable enclosure – IP55 enclosure rating for environmental protection in appropriate installations.
HomeGrid Stack’d Series Modular Battery System Applications
Whole-home backup – supports critical loads and higher-demand circuits when paired with a compatible inverter.
Time-of-use optimization – helps reduce peak-rate utility consumption by shifting energy usage.
Off-grid cabins – scalable battery capacity for remote living and solar-based systems.
Small commercial backup – supports light commercial loads where modular growth is preferred.
Future expansion – add modules as energy needs increase without replacing the full system.

Frequently-Asked Questions
What makes the Stack’d Series “modular”? Each battery module is 4.8 kWh, and you scale the system by adding modules to the stack—allowing you to size for today and expand later without replacing the entire battery system. How many modules can one stack support? A single stack supports 2 to 8 modules, depending on the capacity you choose. What kind of loads can this support? With up to 14.4 kW continuous and 24 kW surge (10 seconds) per stack, it’s intended to support higher-demand residential loads when paired with a compatible inverter and properly designed system. Can this be used off-grid? Yes—this platform is designed to support off-grid use cases when integrated with a compatible inverter/charger and properly sized solar + balance-of-system components. What communications does it use for integration? The system supports CAN / RS485 communications for integration and monitoring, depending on the inverter and system architecture.
