I started overlanding a few years ago with an entry level explorer Jackery 240. It charged my small things fine. I upgraded my rig and got a fridge and diesel heater for winter camping and now I was looking around for alternatives generators. After watching a few YouTube videos and a discount later I pulled the trigger on the entry Delta 2. This is a huge game changer because not only do I have over more then 4x the battery life, but I also have 4x the recharge cycles. This is because of the LFP batteries. Another great feature to have is the app. When I’m on a hike or in my roof top tent at night I can glance at my battery storage and that gives me peace in mind. AC charging is a big win with having a 1200w input recharge about an 1hr. It also sounds like a super jet when all the fans are running. I don’t mind it since I know it’s to keep the unit cool. I’ve tested this for a few weekend winter camping trips and it’s perfect for a weekend lander that needs to power a fridge, electric stove, phones, blenders, recharge lights, and much much more. It’s been powering my diesel heater for two nights at a time and it’s a champ. Although, I would love to review and use the extended battery pack giving you double the capacity and a solar system to trickle charge when I’m out in the middle of no where. I believe the Delta 2 is a great unit for weekend camping. Until another discount comes around I’ll probably hold off for now. I mean unless a company is willing to donate for a review :)
