What is the difference between the EG4 6000XP and 12000XP?
The 6000XP is a 6kW inverter ideal for medium homes or partial backup. The 12000XP is a 12kW inverter suited for full-home systems and larger arrays.
Can I expand my battery capacity later?
Yes. Start with one battery and add a second later; you’ll need the correct conduit boxes and paralleling cable when expanding.
Can I start without solar panels and add them later?
Yes. The kit can operate without solar panels initially and can be expanded with panels when ready.
Do I need professional installation?
Yes. For safety and warranty protection, installation by a licensed electrician or solar professional is strongly recommended.
Can I upgrade from the 6000XP to the 12000XP later?
Yes, the system is designed to be scalable. You can upgrade to the larger inverter when your energy needs grow.
