Does this kit include everything I need to install it?
It includes the major system components: the inverter, both batteries, all six panels, the DC and PV breakers, solar extension cables, the inverter cable, Z-brackets, and the manuals. What varies is the mounting and building side of the job, and that's site by site. Depending on your site that typically means wall mounting hardware rated for your construction, interconnect and communication cables between the two batteries, rail racking if you're mounting on a shingle roof or the ground, conduit, junction boxes, building wire, a critical loads panel or transfer switch, and labor. Those depend on your structure and your local code, which is why we spec them per site rather than boxing a set that might not fit. Tell us about your install and we'll list exactly what yours needs.
How is this different from the SGR-5KE?
Same 5,000W inverter and the same 10.24kWh of storage. Two differences. This kit uses wall-mount batteries that need no rack, while the SGR-5KE uses server-rack batteries that need a rack or cabinet bought separately. The SGR-5KE also carries a larger array, 2,700W of bifacial N-type panels against 2,220W here. Choose this one if the install space matters more than the extra generation.
What kind of wall do the batteries need?
Each is roughly 95 lbs, so nearly 190 lbs across the pair. Mount into studs or onto a rated plate, and give yourself margin rather than working to the exact figure. If you're mounting to anything other than conventional framing, check with a sales engineer before you order.
Can it run 240V appliances?
No. This is a 120V-only system. Well pumps, central AC, electric dryers, and electric water heaters need split-phase power, which starts with our 6.5kW kits.
How much energy will this generate daily?
The 2.22kW array produces roughly 9 to 11kWh per day at 4 to 5 peak sun hours. Actual output depends on your location, season, panel angle, and shading.
Can I add more panels or batteries later?
Yes, and panels are the place to start on this kit. The inverter takes 5,500W against the 2,220W included, so the array can more than double. Battery capacity expands by adding SG48100M units alongside the first two.
Can I install this myself?
Many customers do. The line worth drawing is where the system meets your building: setting the inverter, running PV, and wiring the battery bank are within reach for someone with real electrical experience, while tying into an existing house panel is work for a licensed electrician.
Is LiFePO4 safe?
It's the safest widely available lithium chemistry, with strong thermal stability, long service life, and minimal maintenance. Both batteries include BMS protection against overcharge, deep discharge, and short circuit.
